Finmap terms

ㅤAPI – Application Programming Interface. This is a technology for synchronizing two or more software products. For example, a CRM system and a financial accounting service. This synchronization is done by the developer, so the main thing is that the software product has an open API. Finmap has it, which means that developers can create any integration of Finmap with another service or program.

ㅤAPI key – this key can be generated in your account and is needed to set up integration via the API.

ㅤCRM (Customer Relationship Management System) is an application software for organizations designed to automate customer relationship management strategies, in particular, to increase sales, optimize marketing and improve customer service by storing information about customers and the history of relationships with them, establishing and improving business processes and further analyzing the results. It can be integrated with accounting software via API.

ㅤIntegration – means the relationship between two software products. For example, the automatic transfer of data from the bank about transactions to Finmap.

ㅤSaaS – software as a service. A software product by subscription.

ㅤSubscription – payment for the time of using the service (monthly, annual).

ㅤAnalytics is a section of Finmap where you can view any slice of data on the company’s finances.

ㅤThe owner of the company (Owner) – it can be only one user – the one who created the company. The owner has unlimited access to the company – and only he can delete it or significantly change anything in it.

ㅤA demo company – is a regular company in Finmap that has a lot of different data entered to demonstrate how the functionality works.

ㅤCompany currency – the currency that is selected when creating a company. It is in this currency that all reports and analytics will be displayed.

ㅤStarting balance – the amount on the account at the time of its creation, you can specify it when creating this account.
